We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) guidelines. Your Primary goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Implement OHS policies and programs
  • Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
  • Schedule and review with team general safety training programs
  • Review existing policies and procedures and advise compliance
  • Adhere to all the rules and regulations
  • Conduct routine risk assessment
  • Enforce preventative measures
  • Train and guide staff on best practices and new procedures
  • Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
  • Monitor and enforce employee compliance
  • Conduct incident investigations and develop repports
  • Partner with Site Management to drive safety

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Minimum two years experience in producing reports
  • Proficient in MS office and e-Mail
  • Working knowledge of safety management information system
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Critical thinker and problem solving skills
  • Team Player
  • Good time management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • BSC/BA in safety management or similar field (Preferred)
  • Certificate in occupational health and safety (Preferred)
