The Boyd County Sheriff’s Office has openings for deputies. We have modern equipment, newer patrol vehicles, and supply uniforms and duty gear. Schedule will depend on staffing, but deputies will have every other weekend off.
To be eligible for the chief deputy position certification and some experience is mandatory. Non certified applicants will be considered for a full time deputy position.
Wage depends on certification and experience but will range from $26-$32 an hour.
