JOB SUMMARY: The RN- Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordination of the quality improvement, risk management, and utilization review activities of Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital. This will include: facilitate quality improvement teams using LEAN processing, Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) and other performance improvement methodologies; evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of operations through performance improvement activities; serve as a resource for performance improvement by leading, teaching, and guiding various quality improvement activities; assist in managing quality databases, data analysis, and preparing/presenting quality outcomes; responsible for the collection of data and management of information regarding risk management activities in collaboration with administration; coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of facility procedures and systems to accommodate the utilization review program and reimbursement requirements.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, preferably a BSN.
* Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or multi-state license in Nursing compact state.
* Three years of clinical experience in healthcare setting, preferably Hospital.
* Basic Life Support certification.
