Are you a passionate leader dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Special Education Director to oversee and enhance our special education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
- Support and mentor special education staff
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Advocate for students with diverse learning needs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Administration, or willing to earn
- Leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and other relevant laws
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
