Primary Duties:

Perform maintenance on wind turbine parts, as per the GE Maintenance Manual
Adhere to all company rules and safety practices
Communicate with operators and crew members using proper voice (radio) and hand signals
Use mobile device to record maintenance data (unifier)
Ensure maintenance paperwork is filled out completely and correctly
Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use
Ensure compliance to safe work practices at every step of the maintenance process
Clean, maintain, and be accountable for all supplies, tools, and equipment
Ensure that all supplies, tools, and equipment are stored in a proper manner, and ready for its next use
Write Job Safety Analyses for all work to be performed.
Assert authority and delegate responsibility when needed
Understand unit identification (GE and MFG Serial Numbers, configurations, etc.)
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Yard Maintenance (weed eating, snow removal, pumping water, etc.)
Equipment Maintenance (vehicle inspections, changing oil, etc.)
Unit Maintenance (hang tarps, lift blades, lift towers, etc.)

Skills:

REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be clocked in and ready to work at start of work day
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions

$15+ depends on experience
