TELEHANDLER OPERATOR – JOB DESCRIPTION
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be clocked in and ready to work at start of work day
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely load and unload wind turbine components from trailers.
Must be able to understand verbal, hand, and arm signals while operating.
Must fully comply with all safety standards.
Must be able to operate in tight areas.
Must understand load capacities for equipment used.
Must be able to perform equipment inspections.
Must be able to perform regular equipment maintenance.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must keep equipment clean.
Must comply with all company policies.
Write Job Safety Analyses for all work to be performed.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be prepared to help with rigging when necessary.
Must perform yard maintenance when required.
Must be prepared to perform other duties outside of operating equipment when needed.
