O’Neill Public Schools is accepting applications for an early childhood teacher for our toddler Sixpence classroom for the 2023 summer and the 2023-2024 school year. The toddler classroom serves children aged 18 months to 3 years, supporting their social emotional growth as well their physical and academic growth. An early childhood endorsement is desired, but not required. Teachers will plan and implement instructional activities and organize a safe and engaging environment. In this role, staff will work cooperatively with an assistant teacher as well as the parents of their students. Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD, Rule 11, and the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines is preferred, although training can also be provided in these areas.
Salary will be determined according to placement on the salary schedule.
