O’Neill Public Schools is looking to hire a Building Maintenance Technician for the 2023-2024 school year. The candidate should be a highly motivated individual with good people skills. Managerial experience is preferred, but not required. The candidate should also have a good working knowledge of building maintenance issues, positive communication skills, and the ability to work with a team. In this role, the candidate will inspect property to identify necessary repairs and when possible, complete the repairs yourself or with other members of our team. The ideal candidate should have some carpentry experience and be knowledgeable about various hand and power tools. Additional responsibilities may also involve maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems. A Nebraska bus driver’s license is preferred, but not mandatory. Any experience in these areas is a plus. The position will be full-time, 40 hours/week and include a benefit package and competitive hourly wage based on skills and experience.
