Job Summary
- The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible to collect samples and perform tests to analyze body fluids, tissue, and other substances for a wide variety of purposes as ordered by a Provider. Data is used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
- One year of experience preferred.
Certification, Licensure, Registration
- American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts; PRN, as needed, casual requirements per department policy
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $21.00 – $30.25 per hour
