Corrections Officer

Part time corrections officer at Holt County Jail.  Applicants must be 19 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, no felony convictions and have a valid driver’s license.  You must be willing to become Nebraska Basic Jail Certified within one year.   Applications can be obtained at the Holt County Sheriff’s Office, fax (402-336-2885) or by e-mail e.nordby@holtcountyne.gov.  Contact Chief Deputy Ed Nordby if you have questions.  Part time corrections officers will earn $19.65 per hour.   Part time officers are eligible to advance to full time with eligible benefits if a position opens.
