Holt County Animal Shelter
Holt County Animal Shelter is looking for a kennel attendant to work the 9 PM shift 2-3 nights a week and every other weekend 8-10:30 and 2-5 and then on the opposite weekend be available to work the 9 PM shift. Job duties for the 9 PM shift include letting the dogs out, cleaning up messes if there are any, washing any laundry, and straightening up kennels as needed. The 8-10.30 on Saturday and Sunday include feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels, and beds, sweeping and mopping the kennel floor in each kennel, and giving each dog fresh water and clean bedding.
On the Saturday and Sunday 2-5 shifts, you will be required to clean and straighten any kennel as needed. Give the dogs fresh water and clean bedding as needed and give dogs some 1 on 1 time.
All job responsibilities will be discussed in detail and training will be provided before you start working the shifts by yourself. We are looking for someone who is a team player, dependable, and trustworthy. and loves dogs and wants to work with them in the shelter environment.
