Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to operate mixing and pelleting equipment, loading and unloading trucks for Central Valley Ag’s specified feed formulations and ensure that we meet our high manufacturing standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Batch, mix and route feed according to specified formulas, procedures and schedule to fully utilize batching controller, mixing equipment, and routing equipment.
Follow GMP’s, Quality Control, HACCP, FSMA and established plant procedures.
Ensure team safety by adhering to CVA’s high safety standards.
Accurately complete and maintain assigned reports and documents.
Monitor product quality through visual inspection and onsite testing equipment.
Accurately weigh all ingredients and stage them for mixing per established formulation guidelines.
Perform general facility maintenance, housekeeping and equipment inspection.
Assist in accurately counting physical inventory of feed ingredients.
Adhere to all Central Valley Ag policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:

Ability to sit/stand/walk/ for long periods of time.
Capable of working in confined spaces, heights, bending and kneeling.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 55 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to think on your feet in a team manufacturing setting and provide feedback related to the manufacturing process.
Ability to work in dust and varying temperature conditions.
Ability to work in dust and adverse temperature ranges.
Must be able to climb steps and ladders.
Must wear all personal protective equipment as required by CVA safety programs.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Have a basic understanding of computers and math.
Able to communicate well both verbally and written.
Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
