SUMMARY
As a Transport Driver at Central Valley Ag, you will drive a tractor trailer combination to deliver products and haul return loads to Central Valley Ag.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drives semi hauling various products.
2. Hauls feed ingredients from processor to Feed mills
3. Hauls grain from location to location.
4. Hauls dry fertilizer to locations.
5. Hauls grain from farm to terminal.
6. Maintains documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
7. Maintains electronic log book as required.
8. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating
truck condition.
9. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of semi.
10. Completes daily & weekly reports in an accurate and timely fashion.
11. Operates semi in a safe and courteous manner.
12. Assists in loading and unloading truck.
13. Maintains appearance of tractor/trailer.
14. Provides excellent customer service and customer relations.
15. Listens to service complaints and notifies supervisor of those complaints.
16. Maintains clean and customer friendly work environment.
17. Assists other divisions and locations as needed.
18. Follow all trailer cleanout procedures for the Food Safety Modernization Act
19. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
ª High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
ª Three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of
education and experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement.
