Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible to collect samples and perform tests to analyze body fluids, tissue, and other substances for a wide variety of purposes as ordered by a Provider. Data is used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
One year of experience preferred.
Certification, Licensure, Registration
American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts, Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays, 80 hours every 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
