The 1st Annual Holt County Fur Harvest Event, hosted by Cook’s Fur, will be Friday and Saturday, December 9th & 10th at the Chambers Legion in Chambers.
Compete in four categories. The Trappers Special, 2-Person Coyote Calling Special, 2-Person Coyote Hound Special, and 2-Person Raccoon Hounds Special.
Check-in is Friday, December 9th from 5 to 7 pm at the Chambers Legion Club in Chambers. Some of the events begin Friday and the others on Saturday. All contestants must have a valid 2022 Nebraska Fur Harvesters Permit & Habitat Stamp.
There’s also a chance for all 1st place winners in each event to win a $300 added prize pot.
There will be a free-will donation supper Saturday night, December 10th after check-in with a possible auction.
Cook’s Fur is hosting this event and will buy any animals checked in after each check-in ends.
All proceeds raised will be donated between the Chambers Fire Department and the Nebraska Fur Harvesters Association.
