The Atkinson Fire & Rescue invites you to its Fire Prevention Week Open House on Sunday, October 11 at the Atkinson Firehall. There will be a free-will donation breakfast served from 7 am to Noon, Rides on the Fire Trucks from 10:30 am to Noon, Blood Pressure and Diabetes Checks, Fire Prevention Posters on Display, and Door Prizes given away. They are also collecting old household batteries for recycling, so bring any old batteries you have.
