Job Summary
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care and performs nursing assessment skills and treatments in accordance with registered nurse standard nursing practice for patients of all ages in the pre-operative, surgical and post-operative setting.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience required. 3-5 years of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
Work Schedule
Eight hour day shift with varying start times depending on surgical caseload; 48 hours every 2 weeks
Every eighth weekend on call
Every eighth holiday on call
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$31.00 – $46.50 per hour
