JOB SUMMARY: The Phlebotomist is responsible to coordinate and perform a variety of laboratory procedures within the family practice clinic, Avera Medical Group. Performs analysis of patient specimens as ordered by the Provider and/or prepares specimens to be transported to reference labs. Data is used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
GENERAL HOURS OF WORK:
* Day shift.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* Technical degree preferred.
* Six months to one year experience in clinical healthcare preferred.
