The City of O’Neill is accepting applications for the position of water and wastewater technician. Duties will include but not limited to helping with the construction and maintenance of the City’s water distribution and sewage collection system as well as help with the mechanical operations of the wastewater treatment facilities. Qualifications for the job:
- Good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Nebraska operator’s license. CDL or ability to obtain.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Educational level to the completion of the 12th grade.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have an Entry Level Operator’s Certificate or the ability to obtain Operator’s Certificate within 1 year.
This job includes a full benefits package. Wages will be determined on qualifications. Applications will be accepted until Monday April 3, 2023 or until position is filled.
