Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for ensuring the functionality and aesthetics of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Conduct residential painting projects to maintain the appearance of facilities.
- Fabricate and maintain components as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, providing exceptional customer service.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.
- Proficiency in residential painting techniques and applications.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on electrical systems is preferred.
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with Tells software for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
