JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are the primary responsibilities for this position:

1)  Cash checks and receive deposits

2)  Open deposit accounts which will include using the following systems and documentation requirements

  • ChexSystems
  • Credit bureau reports
  • CIP/Beneficial Ownership

3)  Prepare account documents including but not limited to the following:

  • Account signature cards
  • Check/debit card orders
  • Wire transfer agreements
  • Internet banking agreements
  • Night depository agreements
  • Consumer/Commercial debit card applications
  • Collection of required source documents

4.)  Review all documentation

5.)  Assure documents conform to current compliance regulations

6.)  Assure documents conform to current GPSB policy and procedure

7.)  Perform post account opening review and update tickler system for documents to be received and due dates

8.) Book accounts on the core system, scan all documents and review everything to ensure accuracy

9.)  Balance the following systems:

  • Core system/general ledger
  • Branch capture
  • Remote deposit capture
  • Teller drawers/cash vault/ATM

10.)  Greet all customers, answer phone and respond to email inquiries

11.)  Order and manage shipments of currency and coin

12.)  Mail notices

13.)  Service our ATM(s)

14.)  Perform other duties as assigned

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous cash handling experience (Preferred)
  • Previous customer service experience (Preferred)
