Corrections Officer

Holt County Jail is accepting applications for the position of nighttime corrections officer.  Applicants must be 19 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, and have a valid driver license.  Must be willing to obtain Nebraska Jail certification.  The successful candidates will receive $20.65 per hour and full-time employees have a good benefit package.   Applications can be obtained at the Holt County Sheriff’s Office or by e-mail @ e.nordby@holtcountyne.gov or by calling the Sheriff’s Office at 402-3369-2546.  The application deadline is April 12th 2024.  For more information call Sheriff Ben Matchett or Chief Deputy Ed Nordby.
