Little Disciples Child Development Center
Little Disciples Child Development Center is seeking full and part-time employees to serve as assistant teachers in each of our child development rooms. The assistant teacher works cooperatively with the head teacher to plan and implement the daily educational program of the children. Under the supervision of the head teacher, the assistant teacher will ensure that the educational program is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, education, or child/youth development, Child Development Associate Credential, or a high school diploma with 1500 verifiable clock hours of childcare experience.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience in childcare preferred
- Stamina to care for children
- Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
- Attentiveness to the needs of children and their development
