Mortgage Operations – Tri County Bank, Atkinson, NE has an opening available for a Mortgage Operations Assistant in our Atkinson branch. This is a full-time position with benefits, but we will consider part time as well for the right candidate. This position is a part of the bank’s mortgage department. Primary responsibilities include performing technical assistance to VP of Mortgage Operations, VP of Mortgage Underwriting, and Mortgage Originators, monitoring mortgage loan pipeline, and acquiring underwriting and closing documentation from clients. Additional responsibilities include preparing and posting loan closing entries, scanning mortgage documents into ABS and Director, monitoring closed loan files for outstanding documents and filing when loan file is complete.
Qualifications:
Education
· High School Diploma
· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
· High level of detail and organization skills.
· Interpersonal and communication skills – ability to work within a team concept
· Technological skills including Microsoft office skills and other software systems
· Self-starter that can work well both independently and within a team.
· Mathematical balancing skills
· Enjoys a fast-paced environment
