Holt County, NE – Holt County Economic Development has announced Shelby Regan as the new Executive Director of the county-wide economic development office. Regan started her position with HCED on June 1, 2021 at the HCED office located in the O’Neill Depot Building. Darby Paxton was the previous director and had been in the position for four years.
Regan, originally from DeWitt, NE, came to Holt County Economic Development from Samson, LLC of Columbus, NE. Regan worked as a field auditor based out of Burwell, NE. Regan graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Environmental Sciences Communications.
Regan and her husband Kyle currently live in rural O’Neill.
