“There is a great shortage of nurses in the United States today, especially in rural areas. I hope to come back to Atkinson or another rural community to begin my nursing career. In a smaller practice you can create stronger relationships with your patients,” shared Mlady.

“Our Foundation is proud to continue supporting local students in their educational endeavors with hopes that they will return to the area to provide much needed healthcare services to our rural communities,” shared Jessica Prussa, Foundation and Marketing Director at West Holt Medical Services.
